SCI-FI FIRST PERSON SHOOTER
Character visual development for a university project. Focused on a first person shooter and how the character would use their gun, looking into how to corporate cultural aspects also.
WHIMSICAL DOME PROJECT
Collaborated in a team to create a 2D animation in Unreal Engine to be projected in a 360 cinema. Worked on character design, animations and 3D textures.
WEBTOON CHARACTER SHEETS
Personal work featuring two character sheets for a project in progress.
4 HOUR ART CHALLENGE
Small project made in 4 hours for a "welcome back" art challenge in university.

ALLEN MAY ISAAC
Hi!My name is Allen Isaac (AKA Leaf Jam) and I currently study Games Art & Animation at Arts University Plymouth! I've always loved visual media such as comics, cartoons and anime as a kid; it inspired me to draw everyday and practice everything and anything. From digital illustrations to painting, I love creating and I've always wanted to share my passion with others whether that was creating my own comic or creating characters that others could relate to.As a freelance artist, I travel Devon and sell my art at markets & conventions as well as doing commission work alongside my studies. I'm excited to do many more projects in future and continue to spread my love for art to others.
SKILLS
I'm proficient in Procreate & Clip Studio Paint and I'm familiar with Adobe Animate, 3DS Max & Photoshop. I have extensive knowledge in character design, colour theory & visual story-telling, participating regularly in concept art workflows & pipelines. In the past, I have studied musical theatre, therefore working closely with character studies, expressions & body movement.Not only do I work with illustrations & animation, but also texturing 3D models with stylised painting; I am familiar with UV unwrapping & working with 3D softwares.
EXPERIENCE
I have done an internship with Yellow Mouse Studios (in Exeter) to work on character concept art as well as collaborating in a team to work on an animation. I had to use effective communication skills to make sure the final outcome was cohesive & of excellent quality.In Devon, I work closely with events happening locally, attending conventions & occasionally hosting my own art markets to showcase the talent in Plymouth.On VGen, I work closely with clients to fulfill requests such as illustrations for gifts, profile pictures & social media. I have five star reviews on VGen & hope to do many more commissions in future.
